Another fantastic Bothy maintained by the Mountain Bothies Association. Loch Chiarain is perfectly situated in the middle of nowhere, beside a loch, river and as many munros, corbetts or grahams as you'd care to climb!
In terms of Budget Accommodation it doesn't come much better than this. Comfortable and warm with plenty space, this is the ideal way to explore Scotland and meet the natives. Credit goes to the MBA who maintain these shelters with the help of subscriptions, donations and volunteer labour.
